Open to all UK-based and international artists, the Sunday Times watercolour competition is a celebration of watercolour and water-based media in all forms, making it the UK’s most prestigious prize for contemporary watercolour painting.  It is the largest and most prestigious watercolour competition in the UK.

 

ZOOMING IN ON AN ART DEM depicts an imaginary Art Society Demonstration, taking place during the Corona Virus Pandemic Lockdown via Zoom.

 

The painting took more than 140 hours to complete, each of the 25 mini-portraits taking approximately 5 hours.
